Sayali Salgaonkar has been associated with Architect Hafeez Contractor (AHC) since 2016–17 and rejoined the firm in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from IES College of Architecture, Mumbai (2014), and has over six years of professional experience across residential and institutional projects.

At AHC, her work spans residential developments, educational facilities, hospitality projects, and civic infrastructure. She has contributed to large-scale CIDCO PMAY housing projects, including Bamandongri, Taloja Sector 39, Khandeshwar, and Navade, contributing to high-density, affordable housing developments. She has also contributed to IIT Bombay Hostel Extension, Ghatshila Masterplan (Jharkhand), Kaloji Kalakendram and multiple tourism projects for TSTDC, Telangana, Ahimsa Nature Park, Faridabad, and proposals such as P. D. Hinduja Hospital, Jogeshwari and JFK Medical Center, Liberia. Across these projects, she has been involved in design development, coordination, and project documentation at various stages.

Her design approach emphasizes clarity, functionality, and user experience, with a focus on creating accessible and context-responsive environments. She is particularly interested in sustainable, cost-effective design strategies that integrate local materials and practical solutions to deliver efficient and meaningful architectural outcomes.
