Zakira Patel joined Architect Hafeez Contractor (AHC) in 2007 and holds a Diploma in Interior Designing from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (2005). As one of the firm’s senior interior design associates, she has developed extensive experience across institutional, commercial, hospitality, residential, and public interior projects.

At AHC, she has led and contributed to a wide range of interior design assignments, including IL&FS Atrium Library, Mumbai, IIT Convention Centre, Mumbai, RGIPT Housing, Hostel & Auditorium, Rae Bareli, NCPA Renovation, Mumbai, BITS Academic Building, Pilani, and multiple residential and clubhouse interiors for clients such as Mantri, ATS, and Omaxe. Her portfolio also includes commercial office interiors for ONGC, Infosys, and Dalamal House, Nariman Point, along with auditoriums and cultural spaces such as the Birla Auditorium, Mumbai and INT Birla Drama Theatre.

Known for her detail-oriented approach, Zakira’s work emphasizes precision, functionality, and spatial coherence across projects of varying scales. Her design philosophy is rooted in the belief that carefully resolved interior details significantly shape the quality, usability, and overall experience of a space.
