Ashlesh Wazkar joined Architect Hafeez Contractor in 2022, bringing over 25 years of professional experience across hospitality, commercial office buildings, and large-scale urban developments. He graduated from L.S. Raheja School of Architecture in 1997 and previously worked with Raja Aederi Architects for over two decades.

His expertise lies in the design and planning of hotel and office buildings, with a strong focus on complex service integration, spatial efficiency, and international design standards. His experience extends to high-rise residential and redevelopment projects, where he combines technical precision with contextual urban design.

At AHC, he has contributed to projects such as the redevelopment of the Bandra Fort Plaza, an important 17th century fort plaza in Mumbai; Prestige Nautilus, a proposed 265-metre high-rise development in Worli; and Prestige Forest Hills, a 7.47-acre landscaped residential township in Mumbai.

In addition to professional practice, Wazkar has contributed to architectural discourse through curated and jury roles, including the Services Pavilion at IDAC 2019 and participation as a jury member at FOAID. His design approach is driven by large-scale urban thinking, technical detailing, and the integration of architecture with public life and infrastructure. He is particularly interested in the evolving role of hospitality and commercial architecture within rapidly growing Indian cities.
