Nilabh Nagar joined Architect Hafeez Contractor (AHC) in 1991. Since then, he has led a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and urban infrastructure, totaling over 75 million sq. ft. He has headed major projects including the Mumbai (T1C) and Delhi (T1D) Domestic Airport Terminals, contributed to the feasibility and concept design for VT Railway development and the Mumbai Airport Master Plan, completed Turbhe Railway Station in Navi Mumbai, and has led the design of 15 metro stations in Pune.

Currently, some key projects under his leadership include high-rise residential towers in Mumbai and NCR, corporate offices, a 1.5 million sq. ft. retail mall in Noida, CIDCO PMAY affordable housing in Navi Mumbai, 250-key hotels in Bangalore and Nagpur, a 60-acre mixed-use development in Nagpur, hospital in Hyderabad, IIT hostels and convention centres, and a Net Zero research park in Chennai, alongside multiple master planning initiatives across India.

Nilabh’s design philosophy emphasizes resilient neighbourhoods, meaningful pedestrian connections, and sustainability through responsible use of materials, energy, transport, daylight, and greenery. He serves on the advisory board of Insite magazine and has been a speaker at numerous conferences and college forums, including the iDAC Intelligence Series 2021, Realty Plus Design Trends 2023, and Design Conclave 2025. He has also served as a jury member at the Aces of Space Design Awards in 2019.
