Rajeev Trehan has been with AHC since 1990, after he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Sir J. J. College of Architecture in Mumbai. His expertise spans large-scale master planning, high-rise residential towers, retail buildings, and commercial office complexes, along with boutique projects that challenge conventional norms.
His portfolio includes landmark residential projects such as 23 Marina in Dubai, which was the tallest residential building in the world at completion and received the CNBC Arabian Property Award for Best Architecture (2012). In India, his work has helped shape Gurgaon’s modern skyline through numerous DLF projects comprising over 50 million sq. ft., including DLF 5 and DLF Cyber City. In 2022, DLF Camellias received the International Architecture Award for Multi-Family Housing from the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
Rajeev’s clientele includes leading developers such as DLF, Hiranandani, Adani, Marathon, Lodha, Runwal, Ajmera, Shalimar, and Birla, as well as multinational corporations including Bayer, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Ericsson, and GE. He also served as lead architect for the DY Patil Stadium & Sports Complex in Navi Mumbai, a landmark sports venue.
Rajeev’s design approach emphasizes precision, efficiency, and contextual relevance. One of the primary things that inspires his designs is the profound influence architecture has on shaping future generations. He has served as a jury member for prestigious architecture and construction awards, including Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), ET Realty Designscape Awards, and Construction World Awards.
