The proposed Thane Municipal Corporation office is proposed to be located on an 8.65-acre site in Thane, Maharashtra, blending traditional and contemporary architectural styles. The project includes two buildings: a 190-mtr tall main office tower with administrative offices, a fitness center, cafeteria, health department and committee halls, along with a separate assembly hall. Upon completion, this building is envisioned to be the tallest office tower and the 2nd tallest building in Thane. The top section reflects Maratha heritage, showcasing their architectural and engineering expertise. The central portion features a modern glazed façade that enhances natural light and connects indoor and outdoor spaces, symbolizing Maharashtra’s development.
The base adopts traditional Maharashtrian elements, using basalt and sandstone to evoke historical forts and palaces.
