Apoorva Sharma has been associated with Architect Hafeez Contractor (AHC) since 2008 and brings nearly two decades of professional experience in architecture, master planning, and urban design. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from IPS Academy, Indore (2004), and a Master of Architecture in Urban and Regional Planning from I.E.S. Mumbai (2013). Her expertise includes master planning, institutional campuses, urban planning guidelines, and regulatory coordination, with extensive experience working within Mumbai’s development framework and MCGM regulations.
At AHC, she has contributed to a wide range of institutional, educational, IT campus, and residential developments. Her portfolio includes large-scale campuses such as BITSoM, Kalyan (60 acres), Manipal University, Jaipur (185 acres), K.K. Birla Goa Campus (180 acres), Symbiosis School, Pune, BITS Pilani, Anant National University, Ahmedabad, and Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Rae Bareli. She has also worked on the Infosys Kolkata IT Campus (50 acres) and residential developments for leading developers including Lodha and Godrej. She is currently playing a key role in the design and execution of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC), Lothal—a project commissioned by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India—conceived as India’s largest integrated maritime museum and heritage park.
Her design philosophy emphasizes thoughtful planning, sustainability, and long-term public value, with a particular interest in institutional and civic environments that shape collective experience and future urban growth.
